Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active lookout for a suitable candidate as a Logistics Operations Specialist responsible for coordinating with outsource vendors for strategic operation planning and optimising supply chain efficiency
Key responsibilities of this rolewould include:
Regional Operations Oversight: Manage the maintenance and continuous improvement of logistics processes on a regional basis to enhance logistics and efficiency and effectiveness
Vendor & 3PL Management: Accountable for managing transportation and warehousing suppliers, ensuring operational excellence and cost-effectiveness across shipping and receiving.
Process Engineering: Drive logistics process engineering within the ERP environment and manage the technical interfacing with external suppliers.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Spearhead cross-functional initiatives and continuously identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels and achieve cost savings.
Regional Collaboration: Act as a secondary point of contact for regional teams and provide guidance to global customers through flexible scheduling
Candidate Profile:
Work Location: Singapore
Minimally possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering related discipline
Approximately 5 years of track records in Logistics, Warehouse Operations and Freight management, preferably within the Semiconductor Industry
Excellent communication, collaborative, problem-solving and adaptability skills
Strong knowledge of
Oracle ERP System
and Microsoft Office suite, particularly in
Excel
