Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Senior Manager, Production Planning, responsible for Leading Strategic Production Planning within the Manufacturing Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Lead Strategic Production Planning activities which includes the Master Production Schedules and Controls and Materials, Capacity, Inventory Planning and Analysis
Drive material forecast accuracy and material purchases by means of evaluating plant capacity to meet
short-, mid- and long-term production forecasts,
and integrate these requirements into
capital planning
Work closely with the Procurement and Logistics to ensure an efficient supply flow of the raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods into the Manufacturing Operations
Actively involved in monitoring and improving the production capacity, and aligning said parameters across various markets process flow and planning systems
Ensure efficient work partnership with cross-functional teams
such as Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales teams etc to mitigate any Production Planning or Delivery issues
Candidate Profile
Minimally Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
Approximately 8 – 15 years of experience in Production Planning, preferably within High-Tech Manufacturing fields
Proficiency in MRP and ERP Planning tools e.g. SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics 365 and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
Excellent proficiency in Excel
Certification in APICS, CPIM, CSCP or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantageous bonus
