Job Summary:

A global medical device company is seeking highly motivated and results-driven Account Managers to join their team. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and supporting the growth of a specialized product line within a defined territory (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Southeast, and Northeast Thailand).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device sales, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies. A proven track record of building long-term customer partnerships is essential. The Account Manager will work closely with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and decision-makers, to ensure the successful adoption and continued success of products in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth & Business Development:

  • Achieve sales targets for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
  • Provide product training, support, and education to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product adoption.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.

Key Account Management:

  • Develop tailored account strategies and action plans to meet the needs of key accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with key customers to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and service agreements with key accounts.

Market Analysis & Strategy:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust and refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement product campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  • Regularly update leadership on market conditions and competitor activities.

Pipeline Management:

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, tracking potential leads and opportunities.
  • Use CRM tools to monitor progress and ensure timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in operating room-related fields (e.g., general surgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare system, medical device regulations, and hospital procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse sales territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Fluency in both Thai and English, written and spoken (preferred, depending on the market).
