Atomic is partnering with a firm in the heavy industry and they are looking for a Business Controller responsible for consolidating and monitoring the Hub's financial performance, conducting financial planning and forecasting, and developing the associated processes, tools, and policies.
This is a sole contributor role reporting to the Managing director
Budget: $110,000/annual
The role is based in Florida
Working Arrangement: 4 days in office , 1 day at home

Key tasks involve:
- Ensure effective financial planning and control.
- Participate in business reviews, assessing actual performance against targets.
- Support sales and service teams in achieving commercial goals.
- Negotiate commercial terms with dealers and importers.
- Oversee monthly and annual financial planning, cost management, and capital expenditures.
- Liaise with the Managing Director on the business plan development.
- Create and refine management reports.
- Implement credit control mechanisms aligned with the business plan.
- Ensure operations adhere to acceptable risk levels.
- Monitor accounts receivable, sales discounts, inventory, and other financial aspects.
Business Control & Finance
- Analyze the company's financial position efficiently and effectively.
- Review key concerns and provide feedback to management for focused action.
- Monitor product costs, sales margins, and pricing strategies.
- Establish structures and procedures for financial performance tracking.
- Provide expertise in profitability analysis, feasibility studies, and investment evaluations.
Reporting and Planning
- Lead the monthly closing process and necessary analyses for accurate performance results.
- Report on business performance promptly, including monthly result analyses.
- Oversee business planning and estimation to align with expectations and Group directives.
Working Capital, Credit, and Risk Management
- Collaborate with headquarters to evaluate financing strategies and credit limits.
- Drive regional risk management with thorough due diligence and analysis.
- Monitor accounts receivable and overdue transactions to improve cash flow.
- Oversee working capital management, including inventory target setting and monitoring.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of working experience, preferably within the heavy /manufacturing
- Previous FP&A relevant experience are essential.
- Strong business acumen and commercial knowledge.
- Planning, budgeting, and effective problem-solving skills.
