Overview
Our client is looking for a finance manager to assist the Head of Finance in overseeing the accounting and finance functions of the company. This includes AP, GL, FP&A, financial reporting, financial compliance, and people management. This role plays a pivotal role in supporting decision-making of the company through long term strategic planning, business partnering and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Role
The Finance Manager directly reports to the Head of Finance.
Office is located in Sembawang.
5.5 days work week. Monday to Friday (work in office, 8.30am to 5.45pm), alternate Saturdays (flexible work arrangement)

Salary range from $6,500 to S$7,500.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Management:
- Oversee the accounting function, including AP, GL, and payroll posting.
- Ensure financial compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- FP&A:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders and management.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient resources for operational needs of the company.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for business investments and resource allocation.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance.
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and IFRS.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support audits and reviews as required.
- Pro-active in controlling costs being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
- People Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, ACCA or related professional qualification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/FP&A experience in leadership positions, experience gained in F&B or F&B Manufacturing industry is preferable.
- Strong background in Accounting and FP&A.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience using SAP or related ERP system (e.g. Oracle) would be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skillset, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
