Main Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Central Planning Senior Director, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Planning Senior Manager/Director to lead the global central planning across various global facilities operations.
You will be responsible for developing and executing production planning, capacity, and resource allocation. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in establishing a centralised governance and framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will develop and implement comprehensive strategies across short-term tactical planning, mid-term and long-term strategic capacity planning for both the internal and external manufacturing sites and facilities.
- You will spearhead efforts and initiatives to optimize capacity and resource allocation, aligning with business expansion and growth efforts.
- You will design and establish centralised governance and framework for planning processes, ensuring harmonizing across the sites and the business organization.
- You will identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement budgets effectively.
- You will identify continuous improvement efforts to enhance on the planning tools and systems, looking towards projects and initiatives to streamline the workflow process and improve on sustainability and scalability across the globe
- Team Leadership: You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. You will prioritize team's objectives and drive for deliverables' accountability. You will provide learning opportunities within the department and plan out learning development plans for direct reports.
Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Centralised Planning, across Production Planning / Resource Planning / Capacity Planning & Allocation, with a proven track record of managing complex global network and achieving cost savings.
- Experience and/or knowledge of Backend Operations in Semiconductor / Assembly & Testing Technologies will be an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Experience in driving capacity expansion
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability and excellent track records to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
