We are excited to partner with our client, a leading supplier in the raw ingredients industry, to find a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Excellent business development professional with a strong background in the raw ingredients space to drive market expansion and foster long-term relationships with customers.

Location: Singapore (Regional Travel)

As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading growth initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, collaborating with agents and customers, and ensuring that business objectives are met through strategic relationship management and market insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Market Expansion: Lead efforts to expand market coverage and increase the customer base within Asia Pacific.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry influencers, and existing customers to drive recurring sales.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Provide actionable insights to guide product development, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Product Feedback & Innovation: Actively gather and communicate customer feedback to support the development of new products and refine existing offerings.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints and service issues effectively, ensuring high satisfaction levels and long-term loyalty.
  • Travel & Regional Engagement: Travel regularly across the Asia Pacific region to engage with clients, meet prospects, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify growth opportunities within the raw ingredients sector, adjusting strategies based on evolving market conditions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the raw ingredients, food, beverage, or nutraceuticals sectors.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific market dynamics and regional variations, with prior experience expanding business within diverse markets.
  • Relationship-Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to collect and analyze market data and competitor intelligence to make informed strategic decisions.
