The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence in the raw materials sector across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing client relationships to maximize revenue and market share.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis & Strategy Development:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the raw materials sector.
    • Develop and implement strategic business development plans tailored to specific markets in the APAC region.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  3. Sales & Revenue Generation:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
  4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with R&D to understand product offerings and potential innovations in raw materials.
  5. Reporting & Performance Tracking:

    • Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
    • Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.
  6. Networking & Industry Engagement:

    • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and promote brand visibility.
    • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies in the raw materials space.
