Overview:
This role will maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded. You will maintain the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. You will prepare complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. You will analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. You may guide other accountants.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, prepare statements, and assist accounting manager with monthly closing and accounting reports.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for accounts, including general ledger and document business transactions.
- Maintain and coordinate implementation of accounting and control procedures.
- Resolve and correct billing, inventory, costing, and other accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare documentation of processes and procedures and recommend improvements.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Research and explain general ledger account variances to trend, budget, and prior year.
- Monitor and review accounting and related systems' reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
- Recommend, develop, and maintain financial databases, software, and manual filing systems.
- Supervise input and handling of financial data and reports for company automated financial systems.
- Liase with internal & external auditors.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (full set of accounts).
- Experience working in MNC would be advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud would be an advantage.
