Main Duties & Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Supply Chain Executive, focusing on sourcing, supplier management, forecasting and planning activities.
Key responsibilities of this Individual Contributor Role, include:
- Accountable for supporting the design and development of sourcing strategy within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company's growth and supply requirements
- Accountable for the review and driving of new / existing supplier strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
- Support supplier reliability, supplier performance reviews and assist in contract / price negotiations
- Subject Matter Expert in ensuring a smooth progress of supplier quotation and tender procedures for ascertaining winning proposals, by means of providing commercial sales folks with constructive inputs regarding supplier and related competitor cost analysis for new suppliers concerned
- Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits.
Candidate Profile
Singapore * Permanent
- Supply Chain / Engineering Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably Aerospace environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across the organisation to important stakeholders
- Excellent change management and negotiation ability and project management skills to optimally negotiate and decide on sound business approaches e.g. critical contracts and partnerships
- Proven track records in managing supply chain planning using SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- Supply Chain Certifications (CPSM, CIPS) will be highly advantageous
