Main Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll take ownership of the entire supply chain process, from supply and demand planning, inventory management, distribution & logistics. You'll work closely with suppliers, customers and cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales and Finance
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply & Demand Consensus: Look at balancing the supply and demand, with a short-term and mid-term planning horizon, looking at managing the inventory levels and reducing excess inventory and stockouts.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory transactions in the ERP system, conduct monthly stock reconciliations, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Inventory & Shipment Coordination: Plan and schedule incoming shipments, and oversee the physical receipt and organization of sample products. Maintain accurate inventory records and streamline collection processes.
- Logistics & Customer Orders: Work with logistics providers to coordinate both incoming and outgoing shipments. Handle sales orders, billing, and inventory reconciliation for consignment stock.
- Customer Support & Documentation: Manage customer orders, including sales order generation, invoicing, and resolving discrepancies. Maintain and provide accurate shipping records and documents.
- Data Management: Ensure all critical data, such as pricing, customer/vendor information, and product details, are up to date in the ERP system.
- Strategy & Performance: Collaborate on developing supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor supply chain performance metrics and report to management. Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Take initiative to identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements, while ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, across procurement, logistics and inventory staff. Provide clear direction and support to ensure team alignment with organizational goals.
Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or Operations Management
- 5+ years' experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably in the industrial manufacturing or automotive sector
- Good track records of team management
- Strategic mindset and excellent track records of spearheading strategic improvements
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Adaptable and agile when managing urgent orders
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
