Main Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for an independent and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll take ownership of the entire business development process, from lead generation, to ensuring seamless transition to onboarding and operations. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders including product development, supplier management, and partnership team.
Reporting to the Country Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing about sales growth and development in accordance with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive promotion efforts in Germany, focusing on sneaker categories.
- Facilitate onboarding of new sellers, including introducing platform rules, performance requirements, and registration processes to ensure smooth business activation.
- Monitor daily seller operations, analyze performance data, negotiate pricing, and support sellers in achieving sales growth.
- Collaborate with sellers to develop and implement tailored strategies that enhance their performance on the platform.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive business strategies, including annual planning, operational plans, and periodic reviews.
- Oversee seller order fulfillment, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration to achieve operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred), with minimally 3+ years of experience in e-commerce seller operations
- In-depth knowledge of the footwear brand landscape (sneakers will be an advantage), e-commerce business models, and operational strategies.
- Strong familiarity with industry trends, supply chain dynamics, and consumer behaviour, including insights into industrial belts, channel distribution, and hot-selling items.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools to identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to deliver results in dynamic environments.
