Reporting Manager: Plant Site Leader
Team size: 9 people
Location: Singapore
The role:
- Manage and develop the Engineering Team to meet industry requirements, fostering a data-driven, innovative culture and an effective problem-solving approach.
- Oversee a variety of engineering projects, ensuring safety systems and processes are managed, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specifications with minimal business disruption.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment and facilities performance using sustainable and methodical approaches, and ensure the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles throughout the plant.
- Manage the execution of engineering tasks to achieve goals related to yield, new product introductions (NPI), cycle time, and operational efficiency. Lead value improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe work environment. Report incidents, support investigations, and enforce corrective and preventive actions to uphold safety standards.
The experience:
- Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Ideally with 10 years of management experience
- Ideally 5 years in a medical device manufacturing environment
- Ideally with knowledge of FDA, GMPs, ISO 9001/EN 46001, ISO 13485, and Medical Device Directives
- Proficient with engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, SPC, and statistical tools.
- Ideally with Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
