  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in Singapore and Malaysia
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and employee engagement.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to enhance employee retention strategies.
  • Performance Management:

    • Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
    • Collaborate with leadership to establish clear performance expectations and development opportunities.
  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:

    • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Support the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
    • Analyze market trends to recommend adjustments to salary structures and benefits offerings.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:

    • Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide insights to management.
    • Prepare regular reports on employee turnover, engagement, and other key HR metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.
  • Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese counterparts.
  • Have prior recruitment experience in Malaysia
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite, with strong analytical skills.
