Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of 8 -12 HR professionals across Singapore, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the HR team, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
  • Strategic HR Planning:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
    • Collaborate closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with business goals and ensure effective execution across the region.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives and programs that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.
    • Oversee employee relations matters and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations across multiple APAC countries.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent across the region.
    • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Partner with global and regional teams to design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and market practices related to compensation and benefits.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives and business leaders.
    • Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations based on HR analytics and market trends.
  • HR Operations and Compliance:
    • Oversee HR operations across the region, including payroll, HRIS management, and compliance with local labor laws.
    • Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices that foster a compliant and ethical work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Director or similar senior HR leadership role in a multinational company, ideally within the APAC region.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC labor laws and regulations, with experience managing HR operations across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strategic thinker with strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Results-driven with a track record of implementing successful HR initiatives that drive business outcomes.
